Helen Weir

Chair of the Governance and Nomination Committee

Helen Weir has served on Ahold Delhaize’s Supervisory Board since April 8, 2020, and is Chair of the Governance and Nomination Committee and member of the Audit, Finance and Risk Committee.

Helen has had a distinguished career as finance director of a number of large consumer-focused companies, including Marks and Spencer plc, where she also had responsibility for IT, John Lewis Partnership, Lloyds Banking Group plc and Kingfisher plc.

Helen also holds several non-executive positions. She currently serves as a non-executive director of Greencore Group plc, an Ireland-based manufacturer of convenience foods, and of National Express Group PLC, an international transport provider. She is chair of the audit committee of Compass Limited (a privately held company retailing under the Bata Brand). She also serves as senior independent director at Superdry plc, a UK-based fashion retailer.
